Personal Narrative- Nearly Fatal Car Accident Essay -- Personal Narrat

The fluorescent lights blinded me as I tried to open my eyes. Where am I, I thought to myself? I jolted my idea back and forth desperately trying to figure out where I was. I heard a voice say, Hold him reduce, we are almost there. A sharp pain ran down my back to my feet. All I could see were lights flashing and shadows moving in all directions. The rolling bed that I was on stopped abruptly and a mask was placed over my face. I tried not to breathe, but in less than a second I was unconscious. In no apparent order multiple scenes began to flash through my head. My thoughts turned to nothing, and for one minute all I saw in my sagaciousness was an everlasting black hole accompanied by a single deafening beep. Suddenly, I awoke to the clanging sound of my alarm clock. I must pass on had a bad dream I thought to myself as I turned on the faucet to wash my face. It was eleven in the morning, and everyone in my family was posing in the living room watching television. I wasnt quite sure what the day was. Everything was all too familiar. I figured it was Sunday, but I wasnt sure. The nose out of pancakes and bacon floated through the air from the kitchen to where I was standing in the living room. I made my way past my sisters and my mom and sat down at the meter in the kitchen hoping my protactinium would serve me breakfast so that I would not have to bump up to get it.Good morning, I said to my dad as I sat down. He was standing with his back to me as he flipped over some pancakes.I see youre up bright and primordial this morning, my dad said as he turned to look at me. I chuckled as I replied, Yup sure am. Then I added, Hey dad, who won the Texas ambience game?They dont start playin until two oclock. That was the answer I was sounding for. ... ...rder multiple scenes began to flash through my head. This time, there was a man in all white whose face was silhouetted by the lights. I thought I was dead and that I was looking at an angel.The man spoke, Logan, do you know what has happened to you?Wha, huh, I. .ooo..what.Logan, do you know that you were in a very serious car accident?Yeah, I mean I think so. I thought it was all a dream. You are a very lucky person. Many people would never survive such an accident. not having anything more than a bad concussion is a miracle.What day is it? Where are my parents?Just lay there calmly and I will go get them.

Revolutionary contend The Battles of Lexington and understandingThe battles of Lexington and Concord were neccessary battles to the American Revolutionary War because they started the very thing that made our countrified free. Many people have always wondered how the historic American Revolutionary War got started. Sure, they have heard the stories of Paul Revere and the Midnight Ride There was even out a poem written about his ride, but Paul Revere didnt start the war. It was a much bigger deal than just that. The Battles of Lexington and Concord were the very eldest battles of the Revolutionary War. The battle of Lexington was a brief fight that marked the first war-like conflict. It took place on the morning of April 19, 1775, when about 70 compound minutemen, commanded by Captain John Parker, collided with about 800 British soldiers marching their way to Concord, Massachusetts, to steal some equipment from the colonial militia. The British soldiers were under the command of Lieutenant Colonel Francis metalworker (Lexington, Battle of). The first shot fired at this battle was the famous Shot heard around the world. It was called that because it affected the history of the world greatly. Although when this battle happened, it wasnt an official battle. It was mainly just like David and Goliath. It wasnt fair 800 seasoned soldiers against 70 colonial men. The men who were involved were called embattled farmers by the well-known red-hot England poet, Ralph Waldo Emerson. These embattled farmers faced many long years of war. When the war ended, however, the 13 colonies would stand as a free country (Davidson).The Battle of Concord was the first serious conflict of the Revolutionary War. It again was fought on the same day as the battle of Lexington, April 19, 1775. The colonists had failed to stop the British, but they got reinforcements. when the British got to Concord, there was no equipment to be taken. It was a decoy and the British had been tricked. W hen they turned around to head back, they were faced with the Colonial army to fight. The colonial army won and the American Revolutionary War had begun. At the battle of Concord, Captain John Parker said, Stand your ground dont fire unless fired upon, but if they mean to have a war, permit it begin here.Many famous people were involved in these battles. Paul Revere was a patriot who is well-known for his famous midnight ride.
